Instructional Technology

Today’s students need to be able to use technology to analyze, learn, and apply their learning. Digital age skills are vital for preparing students to work, live, and contribute to the social and civic fabric of their communities. Learning to simply use technology is no longer enough.

Teachers need to integrate the use of technology in all aspects of classroom instruction. They must become comfortable being co-learners with their students and colleagues around the world.

IMPACT Team Leaders

Technology Team Leaders (TTL) represent their schools on the District Technology Committee. They also:

  • Serve as technology liaison to convey information, expectations, and concerns between the site and the district
  • Advise the principal on matters related to instructional technology
  • Serve as an example of effective technology use in the classroom
  • Strive to make technology user friendly for students and instructional staff
