DESERT/MOUNTAIN CHILDREN'S CENTER

They offer an array of services to support member school districts and charter schools (also known as local education agencies) in the SELPAs. They operate direct student programs that are more cost-effective and efficient to support our service areas. Working with local education agencies, they can more efficiently offer a broad range of collaborative services and partnerships that ultimately assists children and families. In general, they provide the program, curriculum, fiscal, and individual protection support services (i.e., administrative services, student services, financial services, due process, alternate dispute resolution, and professional learning). They provide a number of comprehensive mental and behavioral health services to children, youth, families, schools, and communities. The majority of children and youth services occur within the school communities but also can be offered at home, at one of their three DMCC office sites, or within the community as needed.
