The HUSD Student of the Month/Year program began in 2024 to honor the students who personify the HUSD mission of today's student for tomorrow's world. Each Student of the Month nominee is nominated by their school site administrative team. Monthly winners are selected by the District Office and win an award, social media/website recognition, and a gift card prize courtesy of our proud community sponsor, Victorville Motors. Each year, the District Office selects one elementary and one secondary Student of the Month as the overall Student of the Year winner. The annual winner wins a larger award, more social media/website recognition, and a larger gift card prize courtesy of our proud community sponsor Victorville Motors. The District would like to sincerely thank Victorville Motors for their generosity and zeal for celebrating students.
