Welcome to Hesperia USD's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) and Learning Continuity Plan (LCP) Survey.

Hesperia USD is requesting the input of our parents, staff, students, and community members to update our LCAP. The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes how our schools support the success of all students. This plan is required by the State of California to direct resources through the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF).

We annually update the plan based on how our students are doing. We ask for feedback from all stakeholders regarding what is going well and where we need to improve in order to best support all students. This information will assist in the development of the plan that will be brought to the Board of Education in June 2021. To gather your feedback, we're again using a Google Survey. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued. You'll be asked to respond to a few questions. Your answers will remain anonymous.

We are maintaining our three LCAP goals:
1. Provide high quality classroom curriculum, instruction and assessment to prepare our students for success in college and/or a career.
     a. Increase student proficiency levels.
     b. Increase percentage of English learner students who are reclassified as English proficient.
     c. Increase percentage of students completing A-G courses.
     d. Increase percentage of students completing Career Tech Education (CTE) programs.
     e. Increase graduation rates and decrease dropout rate.
     f. Increase College and Career Readiness rate.
2. Provide a physically and emotionally safe climate and learning environment that is culturally responsive to all students.
     a. Increase student attendance rate.
     b. Decrease chronic absenteeism rate (students who are absent on 10% or more of the school days in a year).
3. Involve our parents, families, and community stakeholders as direct partners in the education of all students.
     a. Communication through various means
     b. Provide parent training, learning opportunities and workshops and community resources.

Please click the links below and complete and submit by Wednesday, April 28. Thank you.
