Our high schoolers brought plate tectonics to life by modeling Earth’s plate movements with food.

Students examined hair under the microscope and used clues to identify who was at the “crime scene.”

We explored hands-on experiments with chemical reactions—elephant toothpaste, volcanic eruptions, take-home lava lamps, and of course… SLIME! 🧪🌋🫧

Friday’s In-N-Out lunch with the Principal was a special one for our 5 Sharks! 🍟🍔🦈

This week’s cooking club was all about cupcakes! Our Rising Chefs made vanilla and chocolate bases and added a creamy peanut butter filling. Proud of these little bakers! 🥜💫

Our Sharks made waves at the district's Elementary eSports competition! Big energy, sharp skills, and unstoppable teamwork. Great job, Sharks! 🎮🌊🦈

Ready to dive into a science lab mystery? 🦈➡️🦉 Our students channeled shark-level curiosity to dissect owl pellets — weighing, measuring, and matching bones to a bone chart to reveal the owl’s menu. A fin-tastic hands-on lesson in energy transfer, adaptations, and food chains! 🦴🔍✨

"Rising Chef's took on the challenge of making mac and cheese completely from scratch! We paired our creamy pasta with tasty garlic bread. Big shoutout to Devanny, Daleyza, and Max for being such awesome helpers in the kitchen. Way to go!"

Our 4th and 5th graders had a blast during our Paint and Calculate activity! 🎨
Students solved math problems aligned with our current standards — and for every correct answer, they earned a paint color. Once they had their colors, they followed step-by-step instructions to create their own paintings. Everyone worked so hard and showed amazing creativity — some even came dressed in costumes!

Junior chefs made creamy mac and cheese with garlic bread from scratch. Students learned how to grate cheese, create their own cheese sauce, and bake it into a cheesy masterpiece!
