Huge congratulations to Abigail Smith, our 2025-2026 HUSD Student Athlete of the Year! 🌟👏
Abigail is an absolute superstar at Cedar Middle School! ⚽🏐🏃♀️🏀 She plays FOUR sports (soccer, volleyball, cross country, and basketball). Talk about talent! She even helped lead her soccer team to Cedar Middle School's third HDAL girls soccer championship in a row. 🥇 On top of her sports schedule, she is a rockstar in the classroom, keeping a perfect 4.0 GPA on the honor roll! 📚💯 She is the perfect example of what it means to be a dedicated student-athlete.
As an 8th grader, Abigail is heading to high school next year, and we can't wait to watch her shine over the next four years! Abigail received a well-deserved award and an awesome $500 gift card from our amazing sponsor, @EricksonHallConstruction! 💳🎉 A huge thank you to Board President Mr. Swanson and Board Vice President Ms. Gomez for joining us to celebrate Abigail's success.
