Huge Congratulations to Our 25-26 HUSD Student of the Year! 🌟
We have some incredibly exciting news from Hesperia High School! Senior Mariangel Rubio Aguilar has just been named the 2025-2026 Hesperia Unified Student of the Year!
Along with this awesome honor, Mariangel received a $500 gift card courtesy of our amazing community partners at Victorville Motors. Huge thanks to @VictorvilleMotors for making the entire Student of the Month/Year program possible.
While still in high school, she concurrently earned three associate degrees from Victor Valley College! Mariangel has shown incredible strength by overcoming big challenges in her life to reach her goals. She is graduating as a Valedictorian with a stunning 4.4 GPA.
Look at this amazing list of awards she earned through her hard work. QuestBridge Scholarship: A full-ride to Princeton University! The Seal of Biliteracy & AP Scholar with Honor. Tons of local and national scholarships: Including the Rick Novack, Burger King, Lynn Foundation, Virtues Voices, and CTE Oro Grande scholarships!
Next Stop: Princeton University! 🧠 This fall, Mariangel is heading to New Jersey to attend Ivy League Princeton University. She plans to major in Neuroscience. She wants to study the human brain to better understand how it affects behavior.
