Today during lunches in the Wellness Center, students participated in a mindfulness coloring activity designed to promote relaxation and stress relief. As part of Mental Health Awareness Spirit Week, students who joined the activity and wore a music-themed T-shirt received a special prize. Join us for the rest of the week as we continue celebrating Mental Health Awareness Spirit Week with activities and opportunities to support student wellness!
Oak Hills High School will be visiting Cedar on Tuesday, May 13, during both lunches for an Athletics Meet & Greet! This is a great opportunity for students to meet Oak Hills coaches and athletes, learn about sports programs and activities, ask questions, and get excited about future athletic opportunities. Our campus was filled with laughter, fun, and tons of school spirit! Families enjoyed delicious food vendors, awesome club booths, yummy nachos and snacks from our Spartan Parent Club, and talented parent vendors selling incredible homemade goodies.
Laser Tag brought the excitement, but Smash-A-Spartan may have stolen the show — it was a HUGE hit! 💥😆

Today, our ASB students hosted a special Staff Appreciation Car Wash to show gratitude for all that our staff does each day. Students worked hard washing staff vehicles, sharing smiles, and saying “thank you” in a meaningful, hands-on way.
Not only do we have incredible staff members, but our students are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It was a fun and thoughtful event that truly highlighted student leadership, kindness, and appreciation across campus.

Students who received a special invite enjoyed an exciting Dodgers Watch Party filled with great food, fun, and school spirit! Students cheered on the Dodgers while enjoying delicious pizza and creating their own ice cream sundaes.

Our Life Skills students explored the science of color and light by learning about prisms in a hands-on, creative way! Using everyday materials like CDs, toilet paper rolls, and sunlight, students were able to observe how light can bend and reflect to reveal beautiful colors of the spectrum. This engaging activity helped bring science to life while building curiosity, observation skills, and teamwork in a fun and creative way.
