Congratulations to our CMS Advanced Band & String Orchestra! Both ensembles represented Cedar Middle School with pride at the SCSBOA Los Osos Band & String Festival, earning an Excellent Rating in their performances! Their hard work, dedication, and musicianship truly showed on stage! We are incredibly proud of these students and the way they continue to represent our program. Keep making music and striving for excellence! Way to go Spartans!

Our 7th graders were busy collaborating during tutorials, working together to solve problems and support each other’s learning. Meanwhile, our 8th graders presented their research on UC and Ivy League schools, building their college knowledge and presentation skills. Way to go, AVID students!

NOTICE: Cedar will be having a School Site Council meeting on March 19, 2026 in the library and via zoom. Members will be notified via google calendar and email. Time: 2:40pm to 3/30pm.
Make sure to check the flyer to see what dates our Spartan Counselors will be visiting the 6th grade schools to talk with future Spartans!
