Cedar Middle School

6th Grade Orientation at Cedar Middle School was a huge success! Our incoming students had the chance to explore all that Cedar has to offer by meeting club leaders, learning about exciting electives, and connecting with our amazing sports teams. From discovering new interests to asking questions and getting involved, it was a great way for students to start imagining their middle school journey. We can’t wait to see these future Spartans get involved, try new things, and make the most of their time at Cedar!

On Friday, a group of students earned a special invitation to a fun lunchtime celebration with our CMS counselors & staff! They enjoyed an exciting game of BINGO while honoring and celebrating Black History Month.

For student safety, please remember that student drop-off is in the back of the school. Dropping students off in the front and having them cross traffic is unsafe.

We kindly ask families to use the designated drop-off areas and all crosswalks at all times. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!

Today we had some very special visitors on campus! Our elementary principals stopped by to check in on their former students here at Cedar Middle School, and it was such a great moment to see those familiar faces reconnect.

A big thank you to Mr. Sheffield, Mrs. Rodriguez, Ms. Singer, Dr. Jacobo, and Mrs. Simms for taking the time to visit and support our students.

Earlier this month, students from our Advanced Band class had the honor of performing in the High Desert Honor Band. These outstanding musicians auditioned and were selected among top students from across the High Desert region — a true testament to their dedication, talent, and hard work. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and the way they represented Cedar Middle School! Way to go Spartans!
